About The Event
Join us for an evening of dynamic exploration as we unveil Kal's latest collection, 'Dancing with Gravity and Time' alongside an embodiment connection experience by Mattia Maurée and dance experience by Ruth Evelyn.
In this series, Kal masterfully captures the essence of fluidity and movement, inviting us to meditate on the beauty of stillness and the powerful impact of time. Mattia will be leading an embodied connection to your favorite painting. Ruth will be performing a dance piece inspired by the paintings and leading a movement experience in dialogue with the paintings. Everyone who buys a painting will also receive several recordings of guided experiences by Mattia to build a deeper relationship with the artwork.

Collaborating Artists
Mattia Maurée
An interdisciplinary composer, Mattia Maurée makes art that explores perception, bodies, sensation, trauma, and resilience. Disconnection from our embodied experience of each other and our environment causes suffering. Music has a unique ability to address this. Rather than cajole the audience into a specific experience, Mattia seeks to awaken strong physical sensations that cannot be ignored.

Ruth Evelyn
Ruth Evelyn is an internationally traveling dance instructor, performer, and choreographer.
